The Three Musketeers =)
For Father's day, we had lunch with the Self's (hamburgers and hot dogs!) Then we headed to Grammie and Grandy's for steaks and potatoes! It was a relaxing day for Daddy! Unfortunately, Mommy forgot to take ANY pictures! But I'm sure Daddy was okay with that, he's not really the picture takin' kind anyway!
=)
A couple of weeks ago, Aunt Lovey played around with the camera outside and used Miss Lynnlee as her model! I can't complain, she captured a TON of great pictures of Miss Priss! Lynnlee is a photogenic little girl =)
Lynnlee baby, you are such a sweet Angel, I love you with all my heart!
Love, Mommy
The weekend after we got back from California, we went to my cousin Keith's wedding. I was a little nervous because it was going to be Lynnlee's first wedding and I didn't want her to fuss during the ceremony. She had a little nap right before it started and woke up in a great mood! She did talk a little bit during, but she wasn't fussy at all and was such a happy girl! I was very proud =)
The wedding was beautiful and we had a blast! Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Randall Keith Vaughan!!!
Mommy and Daddy had their 2 year wedding Anniversary on June 11, 2012. In the two years that we have been married, we have gotten "Big boy and Big Girl Jobs," became home owners, and the best yet, became the parents of a precious baby girl! =) These past 2 years have flown by and so many things have happened! I am so happy to be your daddy's wife! =) Lynnlee- We are very lucky girls to have your daddy in our lives! We were in California for my cousin Ashleigh's wedding when we celebrated our Anniversary. We celebrated by going to Hotel Del Coronado. It was beautiful! We had dinner on the patio and then walked on the beach! It was a wonderful night and a great way to end our trip in California. Here are just a few pictures from while we were there...
Ashleigh and Sean's wedding was beautiful and we had SUCH a good time in California. However, we missed you like Crazy and were so glad to come home and have you back in our arms =)
My Grandpa Calvin passed away back in September when I was pregnant with Lynnlee... However, his wife, Sue, who has been married to my granpda for almost 30 years still lives in the house that he lived in. So off to Amarillo we (My mom, dad, neice Breana, and I) went for Memorial Day Weekend to visit Momma Sue! Lynnlee was so good during her first road trip, we drove up there through the night, so she slept the whole way, with a couple of exceptions of waking up to eat. We were able to go see my Gradfather's grave and put some flowers out for him.
This trip is also the first time that Lynnlee got in the swimming pool. The hotel that we stayed in had a very nice indoor swimming pool, so it was perfect!
It was a nice trip and I was glad that Miss Lynnlee got to meet her Great Momma Sue! Lynnlee was just as good going home =)
Lynnlee was 4 months old on May 26, 2012! I just can't believe how FAST the time has gone since she has been in our lives. She keeps us busy for sure! At this month's check-up, she weighed in at 14 lbs and 11 ounces and was 25 & 1/2 inches long. She is perfectly healthy and growing just as she should!
Lynnlee, My Baby Girl:
You are such a SWEET, SWEET child. You are in the greatest mood when you wake up in the morning.... You talk to me and coo =) You smile as soon as I come near you and it absolutely melts my heart. You are rolling over from your back to your tummy and from your tummy to your back with no help. You have tried oatmeal and bananas but you aren't super interested in them right now. You talk, talk, talk about who knows what and sometimes you even crack yourself up! You have the most precious smile and laugh!!! I like to believe you are a Mommy's girl =) And I guess you kind of like that ole' Daddy of yours too! ;) We might have you a TAD bit spoiled, but I am okay with that! You are such a little Angel, God SOO knew what he was doing when he made you!!!
Love, Mommy
Every year, my parents try to have at least 2 fish fry's. One at the beginning of summer and another at the beginning of fall. They invite all of our family, lots of friends and some of my dad's customers! This was Lynnlee's first time to experience the Fish Fry =) It was a really good time!!!
The last picture is of the "aftermath" the morning after the fish fry. As you can see, we all enjoyed ourselves! I really LOVE the fact that my parents do this every year, it will be a very neat memory for Lynnlee while growing up!
