Hangin' out with Grammie

Lynnlee... I don't always get to be with you, I have to work and your Grammie is kind enough to watch you for your Daddy and I when we are at our jobs, so that we know you are in GREAT hands. One of the best things about Grammie watching you is that I know she LOVES you SO much and thinks the world of you! The added bonus is that means she likes to take pictures of you too =) Here is what I got through email while at work. It was a FANTASTIC way to start out my day!

Baby girl, you are such a JOY in my life and you bring so much happiness to my heart. Your little smile melts me and I CAN'T imagine life without you. You have such a sweet spirit and you are such a social little butterfly! =) I look forward to watching you grow and to see all the wonderful things that I know you WILL accomplish!

I love you my Pumpkin Princess!

Love, Mommy

My Very First Mother's Day =)

On Mother's day, Stephen and I woke up and got ready to go pick up Miss Lynnlee (She stayed with her Grammie and Grandy while we were at the concert the ngiht before.) When I got dressed, Stephen brought in a bag and told me to open it. This is what I found:

This was yet ANOTHER present from him and Lynnlee and I absolutely LOVE it!

Stephen and Lynnlee,

I love you both with my whole heart and soul and I am so blessed to have each of you in my life. Thank GOD for giving me the gift of being Stephen's wife and Lynnlee's mommy! I could not be more thankful!

It was a wonderful day and I feel and felt overwhelmed with LOVE =)

Momma Got Tickets!

For my first Mother's Day, Stephen and Lynnlee spoiled me! =) The day before Mother's day, Miranda Lambert was in Dallas for a concert. I am a huge fan on Miranda, so Stephen bought me tickets to see her. Stephen and I met up with our friends Lisa and David and had dinner before the concert.... Then we all headed to the Gexa Energy Pavilion for some Tailgating!

After tailgating, we went into the concert and it was so much fun!!! I was so happy that he got me the tickets, it was the BEST concert I have been to. She sounds just as good live!

Momma definitely enjoyed herself. Thank you so Much Daddy and Lynnlee, It was a BLAST!

STATS

When we took Lynnlee to the doctor on April 25th, she weighed a whopping 12 lbs and 4 oz, and was 24 inches long! She is as healthy as can be and growing like she should be! She is in the 76th percentile for her length and the 56th percentile for her weight! We are very blessed =)

RED

Well Momma got a Wild Hair and Decided to die her whole head RED! My natural color is strawberry blonde and I have debated for quite some time about going back to my natural color.... I didn't exactly go back to the natural color but I went in the same direction, LOL. I have gotten tons of compliments on it, people say it goes well with my skin tone, but I don't know... I like it but I'm just not crazy about it and I miss my blonde!

Here it is:

Cathin' some ZZZZZZ's

This moment is just too precious, I HAD to capture it! My whole world is right here in this little picture!!! This is the good Stuff!!!!!

3 Months & Counting

I cannot believe this sweet baby is 3 Months OLD! Time sure does fly when you are having fun! My life is full of so much excitement and it is all because of this little baby girl! She brings so much joy and happiness to our family and I can't imagine life without her! I love you Pumpkin!

OUTDOORSY!!!

A couple of weekends ago, Stephen and I remodeled the landscaping in our front yard. We raked up all the old mulch, dug up 4 bushes, planted 4 new bushes, pulled weeds, layed down a fabric liner to help prevent weeds, put in new mulch and outlined the the landscape in stone.

It was a lot of hard work and took us about 5 hours to complete, but we had a really good time together and it turned out really well. PLUS, Lynnlee got a little bit of outside time too, and she loved it!

It was a great day!!!

Loving her Babies XOXO

Lynnlee has a lot of stuffed animals... but right now there are 2 specific ones that she prefers and LOVES hugging on and staring at! It is so fun to watch her with them. You can tell they are her little babies and that they are very dear to her little heart.... and seeing that warms momma's heart!!!

Meet Muttsy =)

Muttsy dog was given to Miss Lynnlee by her uncle Sean (Her daddy's best friend) She loves to stare at her Muttsy and love on her, it is so cute!

Meet Mr. Ducky =)

This picture (taken by Grammie Deb) is perfect for how she feels about Mr. Ducky! If she has a FAVORITE, it's definitely him! Mr. Ducky goes everywhere with us. His little outfit says "Mommy Loves Me" so of course I kind of favor Mr. Ducky too!

;p

LOOK who's turning 1!!!

My sister's little girl Alice Katherine Bush turned a year old on April 14, 2012! She had such a cute birthday party with close family and friends and we have SO enjoyed watching this little one grow in her first year of life.

She is such a sweet baby and I feel so grateful to be her Aunt!
For Alice:
Ali-Kat, you are such a cute and spunky little girl. I love you dearly and treasure you because you are our little miracle baby =)
I have enjoyed getting to know you over the past year and I look forward to seeing you grow throughout the years. I'm glad you had a good first birthday and I hope you got all that your little heart could desire!

He is RISEN!!!

This was Lynnlee's first Easter! She had the cutest little dress that her daddy picked out for her and she looked like a little DOLL baby =)

It was a great first Easter for us as a family of 3! We started our morning out with church. Easter is a very special holiday and we want to make sure that Lynnlee knows the real meaning of Easter.

Our Lord sent his one and only son to die on the Cross for our sins, so that who shall ever believe in him, shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

We are so blessed and fortunate to have a GOD that loves us all with everything he has. We want Lynnlee to know that when no one else is there, God always will be. She is a child of the Lord and we know that all of our many blessing are because of HIM! =)

After church, we headed over to my Uncle Kevin's house where we had BBQ for lunch and an Easter egg hunt for the kiddos. We spent the evening with Stephen's parents and chowed down on PRIME RIB =)

It was a fantastic day, we are so BLESSED!

GOOOOOOO BiG BlUe!!!

Kentucky made it to the final four, and came away with a VICTORY which meant that they got to play in the 2012 Championship game! Lynnlee was all decked out in her BLUE and WHITE and made her daddy, grandy and grammie very proud!

Lynnlee is Kentucky's Good Luck Charm! They walked away with the 2012 National Championship! =) What a great way to start out a new little Kentucky fan!!!

2 months!

Lynnlee turned 2 months old on March 26, 2012! She is growing like a weed and it makes me sad!

I enjoy watching her grow, but it's sad how fast the time goes. I try to make sure and cherish all the little moments that I know I won't get back! She is such a sweet baby and I'm so lucky to be her mommy =)

Baby On Board =)

They make everything you could ever want or need when it comes to little ones these days! I received this baby carrier at my shower and decided to try it out....

It is very neat and function able for when BABY wants to be held but MOMMY needs to get things done. I'll admit, I have only used it a couple of times, but that is just because Lynnlee is such a good girl! =) She usually plays or naps while I am getting house chores done. However, there are moments when she is just wanting to be held and that's when this little gadget comes in handy!
