4 Generations!!!

This week we were able to see Lynnlee's Great Papaw from Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. He arrived last Tuesday and will be here until this next Tuesday. Since we had all the family together, we took a picture of Papaw, Grammie Deb, Daddy and Lynnlee to show the 4 generations.

As far as weight goes, Mommy's body bounced back fairly quick. Today I weighed in and I'm 4 pounds lighter than I was when I found out that I was pregnant. HOWEVER, I have gone up a size in my pants and all the weight is in different spots than it was before... but I am trying to make the best of what I have to work with and starting to realize that it's going to take hard work, dedication, and mainly TIME to get back where I want to be.

But for now:

A Very SPECIAL Visit!

Stephen's best friend from the time that they were in diapers came all the way from Florida to see Miss Lynnlee Rene this past weekend. Sean is such a sweetie and was so excited to meet his little niece. We had a wonderful time while he was here and we really wish we could get him to move to Texas! Uncle Sean and Lynnlee got along great and we were very sad to see him go!

KiSs Me, I'm IriSh!!!

For St. Patrick's Day this year, we spent the day over at Grammie and Grandy's house. Granny Vickie bought Lynnlee an outift that was darling! We had the cutest little iRisH gIrL that you ever did see =)

Making Memories

Here are a some pictures of the Princess through the first couple of months in no particular order:

These past 8 weeks of our lives have been so precious!!! We love every moment of being Lynnlee's parents and watching her grow every day. :)

The First Year Stickers :)

My sweet friend Joy bought Lynnlee 0-12 month stickers for her first year of life. Each month, you put the sticker on a onesie and take a picture of Lynnlee to show her progress through the year. This is such a neat idea and it was SO SWEET of my dear friend to do this for us :)

Just Born:

1 Month:

We are coming up on 2 months old in 4 more days!!! Baby Girl is growing toooooo fast!!!

Today's the Day!!!

It's time, It's time!!! Wake up daddy!!!

The day that I was induced (January 26, 2012)... We had to be at the hospital at 5:00 am, which meant that I was up at
3:30 am! I didn't really sleep much anyway because ALL I could think about was that in a few short hours, I would be meeting my baby girl! :)

When we arrived at the hospital, we checked in and went to a Labor and Delivery Room, where I changed into a gown and they hooked me up to an IV. They started the pitocin at about 6 am and I was feeling the contractions by about 7:30 am. My cervix was fully effaced and I was dilated to a 1.5.

Granny Vickie, Pawpaw Mike, Grammie Deb, Grandy Jeff, Aunt Kasey, Alice, GiGi Jean, Aunt Stephanie, Uncle Matt and Breana were all at the hospital pretty much all day waiting for Miss Lynnlee's arrival.

At first, I was progressing great...Typically with pitocin, you dilate 1 centimeter per hour, and that's exactly what I was doing. At about 12:30, I got an epidural and my water broke. I was dilated to a 6 by 1 pm... However, by 5:30 pm, I had not dilated anymore. Lynnlee was "Sunny Side Up" and for some reason it was causing me not to dilate any further. By this point, I had been in labor for almost 12 hours, running off of about 4 hours from the night before. I was EXHAUSTED and READY to meet my baby girl!!!! Stephen, Dr. Sadler and I decided that it was best for me to have a c-section, so that's what we did.

Lynnlee was born on January 26, 2012 at 6:20 pm! She weighed 7 pounds, 10.9 ounces and was 20 inches long! The moment Stephen and I saw her, we knew that she was the most perfect baby in the entire world! The love for a child is indescribable. She is the most precious blessing from God and I am so THANKFUL to be her mommy!!! :)

Lynnlee Rene... The day that you were born was the ABSOLUTE best day of my life! I look forward to learning all about you and being the best mother to you that I can be. You are my pumpkin :)))
