CrUnCh TiMe!!!

Well it is now 2012, the year Miss Lynnlee Rene will be born =) WOO HOO!
At the Doctor last week 1/04/12, Dr. Sadler had a sonogram done and we measured Lynnlee. She weighed in at 6 lbs and 7 ounces! She's also measuring about 4 days ahead of time! Dr. Sadler also informed us that we could go ahead and induce at 39 weeks which is 01/26/2012.... SOOOO, that is going to be our baby girl's birthday, UNLESS she decides to make her grand entrance into the world before then. My blood pressure was pretty high so Dr. Sadler decided that it would be best for me to stop work and be on light bed rest until the little princess gets here. So, I'm home everyday now, it's nice but gets pretty boring! I know that I need to try and enjoy ALL the alone time that I can get right now, so I am trying to soak it in and also get as many naps in as possible!
I had another doctor's appointment today and I was dilated to a 1. Some progress, but not enough to have this baby today!
She will be here before we know it and I am very anxious =)

It amazes me how the woman's body works during pregnancy. I am so thankful that God gave me the opportunity to carry this little girl and to experience all the amazing things that happen. =) Even the negatives- stretchmarks, aching back, heartburn, etc. It is all worth it knowing the wonderful gift you receive at the end!

Christmas =)

We spent Christmas eve over at my Dad's parents house with all of his family and had a very nice time.  It has always been a tradition for all of my dad's family to go over to my grandparent's house every Christmas eve, it is one of my very favorite memories as a child and I look forward to Lynnlee making memories there as well. My grandma gave Stephen a picture collage of me when I was a baby and little girl and told him that she just wanted to show him a little taste of what he's in for with Lynnlee. It was very sweet of her!
We then went to Stephen's parents for the Annual Waldrop Christmas Eve Party, very fun but I didn't get to wear a cute Christmas dress this year, due to my growing belly.
When we got back to our house Christmas Eve, we opened our presents at midnight just like we had done the previous year. It was a bitter/sweet moment as we realized this would be the last Christmas that it is just the two of us! =)

On Christmas Day, we went to my parents first and then to Stephen's. We didn't take as many pictures as I intended but we had a really great time with family!
Here are a few pictures from my parent's house Christmas Day:

Christmas this year we have so much to be thankful for, especially for Our Savior Jesus Christ! He is the reason for ALL of our blessings and all of our Thanks goes to HIM!
