PINK, PINK AND MORE PINK

We bought probably 5 different samples of PINK paint to try and find the "perfect" color for Lynnlee's room.... We narrowed it down to 3 and decided to test all 3 on the wall to see which on we liked best. We wanted to go with a lighter PINK because the bedding that we like has a lot of HOT PINK in it and we didn't want the HOT PINK to be overkill! So, we decided if we painted the walls a light PINK than the HOT PINK could be the like the "accent color." Here is a pciture of all 3 PINKS we had to choose from:

And the verdict is........... The PINK on the farthest right, we felt like it was in between the other two PINKS, not too much and not too little. SOO it is a working progress right now. Mom, Granny Jean and Stephen started the room, and it is about halfway finished. I started having doubts about the PINK though. I guess because I am used to neutral colors now a days. That's what most of our home is in... So this PINK was a very big Change! Stephen and my dad talked me into keeping it PINK, so my dad is going to come finish the room sometime this week. Now for accents and wall art, we are still working on exactly what we want... But that too will come, sooner hopefully rather than later. Here is what the room looks like now. Once I get the finished paint job, I will post another picture!

RANGER TALK W BABY =)

This Texas Ranger Season (earlier on in the pregnancy) we were able to attend a game! It was a blast and I am so glad we were able to attend! Stephen looks a little goofy in the picture that was taken at the game, he has a hard time being serious for pictures!

Why am I writing about the Ranger game if it was so long ago that we attended?! Well because the Rangers played in the ALCS against Detroit and whoever won that Championship did not only become the 2011 American League Champs but also got to go to the WORLD SERIES! Of course our Rangers WON!!! So we are now on game day 5 against the St. Louis Cardinals of the World Series. We have won 2 games and the cardinals have won 2. We've been watching intently and Lynnlee has been moving quite a bit during the games. (We get pretty loud and excited.) Stephen has been giving Lynnlee Play by Plays through my belly, he then puts his ear to my belly and "translates for her." He always says that Lynnlee is saying "GO RANGERS." She will know a lot about the Rangers and baseball by the time she arrives.

3 more games including tonight's game! Rooting for our Rangers! This is the second year in a row we have gone to the World Series and we are hoping to be Champs this year!!!

An Update from Mommy =)

Lynnlee...

Today I am 22 weeks, 5 days pregnant. I have 5 more weeks of my second trimester. I feel like it's taking forever for you to get here! I have other friends/acquaintances that are pregnant and I feel as if their pregnancies are flying by while I'm stuck in slow mode. I guess this is because I am so anxious to meet you and see your beautiful face! However, I want you to finish cooking and come when you are ready. We want a healthy baby girl!

We are now registered at Babies R Us and Target and I cannot wait for the shower. It is going to be on Sunday November 13th. I think that Daddy and I are going to pick out paint sometime this week and try to start painting your nursery this weekend.

My belly continues to grow, making space for your sweet self to stretch and grow. And boy are you stretching these days! I feel you move all the time. We can even see your kicking through my belly now. Your daddy thinks you are  going to be a soccer player, I tell him that you are doing ballet in there! Last night I went and layed down for bed before your daddy, (I have a sinus infection and have been feeling pretty miserable...) he came in the bedroom to tuck me in and kissed forehead and then my belly. He loves you so much, so does your mommy! It is the best feeling in the world to feel you kick and move around in my womb, it's something that I cherish and enjoy very much! =)
Here is a picture of our growing progress:

That's all for now!

Love, Mommy
