Dear Lynnlee...

In a couple of days, Mommy will be 33 weeks pregnant. You are growing more and more each day which in turn means I am too. Every time I look down at my belly, I think, "There is no way that my belly can get any bigger...." But to my surprise, it does! You are very active and you LOVE when the music is up loud or when your daddy talks to you. You already have such a personality and you haven't even graced us with your presence yet. I can press on my belly and say "Good Morning Baby Girl, I Love You" and you will give me a little kick to let me know you can hear me. =)
As far as the aches and pains of pregnancy, here are my complaints....
I can't really get comfortable at nights anymore. It doesn't really matter how many pillows I have or how I position them, I just can't seem to find a comfy way to lay anymore. My feet and hands are swelling now and if I stand too long, I pay. My feet and back are what give me the most trouble. I'm only 5'2", (I hope you get your daddy's height baby girl) so when people see me... I always get asked if I'm having twins or told that I must be having a huge baby. It's funny the things people feel that they have the right to say to you when you are pregnant. Don't people know how emotional and sensitive a pregnant woman is?! Oh well, I am getting very, very anxious to meet you. I know as soon as I see your sweet face and hold you in my arms for the first time, that all my pregnancy complaints won't really matter to me anymore.
I go to the doctor tomorrow. My check ups have gone really well thus far and they always tell me that you look great! Here is a picture of what mommy is looking like these days:

Gobble Gobble =)

For Thanksgiving this year we attended 3 family gatherings, it was quite busy and we got our fill on Turkey and dressing! This was Lynnlee's First Thanksgiving (well in Utero) and I'm pretty sure she enjoyed all the yummy food! I know her mommy did. We had lunch with my Granny Brenda and my Dad's Family and then dessert with my Granny Jean and my Mom's Family. We visited for a while and let our food digest before we headed over to The Waldrop Household for their Thanksgiving dinner. Overall, Thanksgiving was wonderful this year and I didn't worry at all if I filled my plate too high, I just enjoyed myself!

Happy Thanksgiving Ya'll!!!

Lynnlee is growing like a weed!

When I went back to the specialist on November 14th, I was relieved when Doctor Peters told me and my mom that Lynnlee's kidneys looked perfect and that she was completely healthy! He also told us that she is in the 97th percentile for her weight, she weighed 3 lbs and 9 ounces when we went in! Healthy, healthy girl! She has cute chubby cheeks, see for yourself:

It is a bit blurry, but still incredible that you can see that much detail these days with technology! We love her so much already! I measured 30 cm's at my doctor's appointment 2 weeks ago and I go back tomorrow, so we shall see how little Miss has grown!

He's A Hard Working Man!... And Mommy's working hard too!

Stephen has been very busy from putting together little things like Lynnlee's swing to putting together things as big as her CrIb! He has been so helpful about getting Baby Girl's room ready, I am so thankful that he doesn't mind doing these kinds of things. I think he takes pride in knowing that he is making sure that her everything is ready for his precious baby, and boy am I glad that I have such a wonderful and helpful husband! Here is what he has accomplished!

There is still a lot to do as far as decorating, but we have made a huge dent in the things that were needing to be done and I couldn't be more proud. I feel like a huge weight is lifted off of our shoulders. As for Mommy, I have washed every stitch of clothing that Lynnlee has (and believe me there's a LOT!) I washed all her crib sheets, blankets, towels, bibs and socks and I have put them away! Slowly, but surely her room is coming together and it's making me anxious for her arrival. She will be here before we know it!
=)

Showers of Gifts for BaBy!!!

I had the most beautiful shower and all the thanks goes to my AMAZING Mother, Aunt Jennifer, Mother in law Debi, Sister Kasey and Sister in law Stephanie!!! They did such an awesome job preparing and I couldn't have dreamed of anything more!

Everything was decorated so cute, all the food was exceptionally yummy and all the people who attended made my day extra special! I felt very loved and realized just how spoiled miss Lynnlee is going to be!

Pictures from shower will be up as soon as my pregnant brain helps me to remember where I left the USB cord to my camera!

Found the Missing USB cord in my nightstand drawer.... Here are pictures from my shower, finally!

Maternity Pictures GaLoRe!!!

We did maternity pictures a little earlier than most women/couples might do maternity pictures because of MY height and the fact that it causes me to show more quickly. We had so much fun at the shoot and the photos turned out so WELL!
I feel like a giant standing next to Stephen who is so skinny, but it's all going to be worth the extra weight when we get to meet our healthy baby girl!

I am so excited about these pictures and how well they turned out and I look forward to having these to show to Lynnlee down the road.

Halloween & Lynnlee's Cousin Bre Bre's Birthday Party!

For about 9 years now, it has been a tradition to have my niece Breana's birthday party out at my parent's house. Breana was born on October 30th, so we call her our "Halloween Baby!" Her birthday usually consists of Costumes, and entertaining all the kids with fun Halloween games and of course, LOTS OF CANDY!!! My mom always has a lot of fun with the decorations and loves helping Bre's mom get the house all ready for the party. Breana turned 10 this year and she dressed up as a Zombie Prom Queen!!! This was also my niece Alice's FIRST Halloween! She was dressed as a Princess Fairy, Granny Jean was dressed as a Gypsy, Kasey was dressed as a 60's girl and My mom dressed as Medusa.

SCARY HUH?! It was a lot of fun, I can't believe that she is already ten years old!
On Halloween day, we went and had my maternity pictures done, and I will have them up very soon!
=)

No ViCtOrY =(

Unfortunately our Rangers didn't win the World Series again this year. We made it all the way to game 7, but just couldn't take the final Win! It was painful to watch them lose, but we are so glad that we were able to watch them play in the World Series for the 2nd year in a row. They are still our TEXAS RANGERS and we will just see them again next season. Until then, we will cheer on Lynnlee's daddy's favorite basketball team.... the UK Wildcats!
=)

A Side note to Lynnlee... It is so fun to watch your daddy get into these games on the TV, he really gets excited. One day we will sit and laugh at all his goofy dances and cheers that he does in front of the TV, and we will be proud to say he belongs to us, "The Luckiest Gals in the World!"

The Finished Product!

Well the nursery is all painted! Everyone contributed a little bit and now we have a beautifully painted light pink Nursery! =) I am very happy with the color that we chose!!!

I am so happy that it is finished before this weekend. We are having my shower this Sunday, so I am excited to put all of her stuff in her room and start decorating!

PINK, PINK AND MORE PINK

We bought probably 5 different samples of PINK paint to try and find the "perfect" color for Lynnlee's room.... We narrowed it down to 3 and decided to test all 3 on the wall to see which on we liked best. We wanted to go with a lighter PINK because the bedding that we like has a lot of HOT PINK in it and we didn't want the HOT PINK to be overkill! So, we decided if we painted the walls a light PINK than the HOT PINK could be the like the "accent color." Here is a pciture of all 3 PINKS we had to choose from:

And the verdict is........... The PINK on the farthest right, we felt like it was in between the other two PINKS, not too much and not too little. SOO it is a working progress right now. Mom, Granny Jean and Stephen started the room, and it is about halfway finished. I started having doubts about the PINK though. I guess because I am used to neutral colors now a days. That's what most of our home is in... So this PINK was a very big Change! Stephen and my dad talked me into keeping it PINK, so my dad is going to come finish the room sometime this week. Now for accents and wall art, we are still working on exactly what we want... But that too will come, sooner hopefully rather than later. Here is what the room looks like now. Once I get the finished paint job, I will post another picture!

RANGER TALK W BABY =)

This Texas Ranger Season (earlier on in the pregnancy) we were able to attend a game! It was a blast and I am so glad we were able to attend! Stephen looks a little goofy in the picture that was taken at the game, he has a hard time being serious for pictures!

Why am I writing about the Ranger game if it was so long ago that we attended?! Well because the Rangers played in the ALCS against Detroit and whoever won that Championship did not only become the 2011 American League Champs but also got to go to the WORLD SERIES! Of course our Rangers WON!!! So we are now on game day 5 against the St. Louis Cardinals of the World Series. We have won 2 games and the cardinals have won 2. We've been watching intently and Lynnlee has been moving quite a bit during the games. (We get pretty loud and excited.) Stephen has been giving Lynnlee Play by Plays through my belly, he then puts his ear to my belly and "translates for her." He always says that Lynnlee is saying "GO RANGERS." She will know a lot about the Rangers and baseball by the time she arrives.

3 more games including tonight's game! Rooting for our Rangers! This is the second year in a row we have gone to the World Series and we are hoping to be Champs this year!!!

An Update from Mommy =)

Lynnlee...

Today I am 22 weeks, 5 days pregnant. I have 5 more weeks of my second trimester. I feel like it's taking forever for you to get here! I have other friends/acquaintances that are pregnant and I feel as if their pregnancies are flying by while I'm stuck in slow mode. I guess this is because I am so anxious to meet you and see your beautiful face! However, I want you to finish cooking and come when you are ready. We want a healthy baby girl!

We are now registered at Babies R Us and Target and I cannot wait for the shower. It is going to be on Sunday November 13th. I think that Daddy and I are going to pick out paint sometime this week and try to start painting your nursery this weekend.

My belly continues to grow, making space for your sweet self to stretch and grow. And boy are you stretching these days! I feel you move all the time. We can even see your kicking through my belly now. Your daddy thinks you are  going to be a soccer player, I tell him that you are doing ballet in there! Last night I went and layed down for bed before your daddy, (I have a sinus infection and have been feeling pretty miserable...) he came in the bedroom to tuck me in and kissed forehead and then my belly. He loves you so much, so does your mommy! It is the best feeling in the world to feel you kick and move around in my womb, it's something that I cherish and enjoy very much! =)
Here is a picture of our growing progress:

That's all for now!

A Sad, Sad Day for our Family...

Friday, September 23, 2011, My pawpaw Calvin went to be with the Lord. He has been sick for quite sometime and been fighting it like the warrior that he is, but his body finally stopped fighting and he left us to spend eternal life with our Savior. I am so sad that Lynnlee will never personally know her Great Pawpaw Calvin, he was a wonderful man and many looked up to him. I loved calling him my Grandpa and will forever treasure my memory of him. I will tell her all about him and show her all the pictures of all the neat things that he did with his life.

No more pain and suffering for him. He is up in heaven praising God and looking after all of our loved ones who have left this earth but live eternally in heaven.

There's No Denying It!

SOOOO... at our last Doctor's appointment, we were told that we are FOR SURE having ourselves a little GIRL! =) They say that with little girls they look for the 3 white lines, and we could clearly see that on this ultrasound...

I am happy to know for sure and so excited to start decorating! We were also informed that Miss Lynnlee's kidneys are a little dilated and that we would need to go to a specialist to have it looked at. We did and the specialist, Doctor Peters said that her kidneys are measuring a 5 when normally they are a 3. He says he is not worried AT ALL and that we would just keep an eye on them. He said that mom and baby looked healthy and that he didn't want to see me back until I am 30 weeks. He also stated that it's normally something that fixes itself before birth and that he didn't see any reason that Lynnlee's little kidneys wouldn't figure it out before she gets here. GOD is GOOD!

Our little Princess is growing strong, she weighed 1 pound when we went to the specialist on 09/26/2011!

We registered at Babies R Us and we plan to register at Target this weekend.

GrOwInG!!!

These are the last two pictures that I have taken of my belly....

There is no doubt that Baby W has been growing like a weed here lately, there's also no doubt that mommy has been enjoying not "dieting"! LOL

I weighed yesterday and I have hit the 10 pound mark... EEEKKK! Kind of Scary, but with being 2 days shy of 20 weeks pregnant, I think I am right about where I should be. I hope I only gain 25. I know they say the average amount is 25-35 pounds, but with my short frame, I hope to stay on the lower end. With fall just around the corner, I am going to start walking again and hopefully that will help!
That's all for now!
 =)

In the mean time....

I haven't been posting nearly enough lately, I guess I can blame it on being so busy! We have had a TON going on here the past few weekends, I didn't think I was going to catch my breath for a little while, but I did and I have a lot to update on! The weekend before my sister  Ashley got married, I had a little lunch date with her and miss Bella to discuss what all still needed to be done. I love seeing Bella and getting to visit with her, she is growing so much and she thinks that she is TOO big for her britches now a days! =)

She is very curious at age 2 and loves to put on a show for us! I had a really nice visit with her and feel very lucky to have this precious little girl as my niece.

The following weekend I was a bridesmaid in Ashley's wedding. Below is a picture of Stephen and I all dressed up for the first time since I've been pregnant, and in this dress you can see my  BABY bump really well!

The day after the wedding Stephen and I went over to his parents to celebrate him graduating from ITT Tech! A few family friends attended, along with my parents and Stephen's good friends from school Dustin and Angel. We are all so proud of him and all that he has accomplished in the past two years! I know that he will go far in anything he does and I am so excited to see where this road takes him.

Congrats Stephen!!! College Graduate, Class of 2011!!!

Prince or Princess?!?!!

When we went back to the doctor the following week, baby W was moving alll around, we could hardly get a picture of his/her bottom... Finally baby W was still long enough for Dr. Sadler to say what she thought we were having! What was the Verdict.... She said... "It's a GIRL!" We were in disbelief, and I think we still are a little. LOL. Not that we aren't super excited for a  little girl, LOTS of BOWS AND DRESSES =) But we were just convinced 100% that this little baby was for sure a BOY! We were wrong. We go back to the Doctor next Wednesday, 9/21/11 and we are having another sonogram, maybe once we see it again we will feel more confident about whether or not she is right about the sex. Either way, we will be ECSTATIC and we are just so happy that every time we go in for a check up, Dr. Sadler tells us how wonderful everything looks with our little bundle of JOY! We still can't agree on a boy name.... But once we heard it was a girl, we knew her name for sure... If SHE really is a SHE, we will name her, Lynnlee Rene Waldrop! We love you so much and can't wait to see what Dr. Sadler says next week about our little growing miracle!

A Day Shy of 17 Weeks!

I will be 17 weeks pregnant tomorrow! Almost half way there! It is hard to believe. Although it feels like it takes forever to get you here, in all reality these past 17 weeks really have gone by fast in the grand scheme of things. Last night I could NOT get comfortable. I spent about an hour, tossing and turning (Your daddy was not affected by this at all, he slept right through it.) I guess my belly is getting big enough now that my normal sleep positions aren't comfortable. After tossing and turning so much, finally I just started praying that I would be able to get comfortable and fall asleep. I did! Thank GOD! It is so weird, my nausea has gone away, not that I liked having it around, but I guess I got used to it and now that it's gone, I'm thinking "Is this normal?!" LOL, but they do say that in your 2nd trimester, things start getting better, only for your third to get here and the sypmtoms come flying in like crazy! I guess I will just sit back and make the best of it. You definitely don't want me eating spicy foods though, I get heart burn like crazy. The only thing that I have noticed makes it better is drinking a glass of milk! I am so excited for the weeks to come as you will be having some huge growth spurts! =)

Mommy and Daddy

We have been making it a point to relax a couple nights a week, get a movie, pizza, and just lounge around. We are enjoying each other's company and trying to really cherish these moments where we are able to relax and sleep in late. We know that here very soon, our lives are going to be FOREVER changed and that we won't always get to do these types of things. However, we couldn't be more happy for the changes that are to come! Your Daddy is now kissing my belly and talking to you, he loves you so much! Last night you kicked a couple of times, and although it is still a very light thump, your daddy's hand was on my belly and he got to feel it. He smiled from ear to ear. =) We cannot wait to see your beautiful face and to hold you safe in our arms.

I had to go to the doctor this Monday for an infection under my arm, there is a knot that apparently has some yucky stuff in there, Dr. Sadler gave me some antibiotics and I go back next week to make sure it is all gone! She did a surprise ultrasound for me to try and see if we could tell for sure if you are a little boy or a little girl! Needless to say, you were not wanting to show us anything. You had your booty down, legs crossed and you weren't going to move no matter how bad we wanted you to! We go back next Friday so we will see if you are in the right position then. On another note, your daddy graduates from ITT Technical Institute with and Associates in Drafting and Design in 14 days!! I am so proud of him!!!! I'm also excited to have him back home the 3 nights a week that he is usually gone for school. I sure do miss him when he isn't home! We love you baby W!

BeLlY UpDaTe!!!

So today I am just 2 days shy of being 16 weeks (4 Months)... I am definitely starting to really show! The nausea has gotten better, I don't have to take my medicine for it anymore. It is still there every now and then but not near like before! I have headaches still off and on and the lower back pain doesn't look like it's going anywhere soon. I am so amazed at how quickly your body changes. I found my first 2 stretchmarks, on my hip! They are very light in coloring and I think they will fade easily. I am now applying cocoa butter after showering, whether or not it's going to help, I don't know but it is worth the try!
Belly:

I go back to the doctor next Friday, I can't wait to listen to this sweet little baby's heartbeat! Dr. Sadler will most likely schedule my next sono when I am there and hopefully we will know for sure what the sex of the baby is very soon! I can't wait to feel him or her move! Should be able to in the next few weeks. I think I might have felt something, it kind of felt like bubbles, but it will be much more reassuring when I can actually feel those KICKS =)

IntelliGENDER!

So I decided that it would be fun, and a cute memory to have to buy this test called "Intelligender" it turns Green for BOY and Orange for GIRL. It is just a prediction, but still neat! This is the result I got:

Stephen gave me a hard time for paying for something that is a "prediciton" but I have to admit, it was fun to try it out! I wonder if I bought another one, if it would say something different?!!?? ...............
=)

Play Date with Ali-Kat :)

I love watching my little niece Alice Katherine grow. Here lately, she is kicking up a storm, cooing and laughing and she loves to watch herself in the mirror! She is a sweet baby and I love getting to spend time with her. She is now 4 months old! they grow so fast! I went and visited her last week and she was playing underneath her mobile, she was very fascinated :)

The next day, mom and I took her shopping with us. She was so content and enjoyed having girl time with Granny and Aunt Katie. She is such a pretty girl, going to have to keep the boys away when she's older!
